The CATTE (COLLECTIF ANTIFASCISTE DES TRAVAILLEURS DE LA TERRE ET DE L’ENVIRONNEMENT) was created in January 2022, when the racist and sexist presidential candidate Eric Zemmour launched his campaign on the French countryside, emulating other racist and sexist candidates to do the same. Our collective is composed of peasants and rural workers resisting this trend. It started in the Côtes d’Armor-department, which is why our first name was CATTE-22; but now we’re nationwide. We publish news and “cartographics” aimed at spotting the geographical networks of neo-fascists. We are for direct, but nonviolent action (as our German comrades put it: we fight the System, not the people).
